Novalis College rallies against young people’s sedentary lifestyle

Novalis College in Eindhoven will take action against the sedentary lifestyle of young people on Wednesday, 12 June, and Friday, 14 June.

During their breaks, first-year students will be challenged to move during three clinics: basketball, volleyball, and table tennis.

Novalis College’s canteen received the Golden Scale from the nutrition centre for its healthy choices. The school also gives courses where the students do not spend their hour in class, sitting. Nevertheless, the school will make room in the coming weeks for the new exercise stimulation project.

It was developed by three students from the Fontys Sporthogeschool. The purpose of this project is that the pupils will spend their breaks being active, even after the end of this week.
