Graffiti festival turns 10

The Eindhoven-based graffiti festival, Step in the Arena, celebrated its tenth anniversary on the weekend.

More than 120 graffiti artists from all over the world were in Eindhoven. On 8 and 9 June, they worked from 11:00 to 20:00 on the creative transformation of the Berenkuil. The range of artists varied enormously. There were many types of graffiti and street art, such as letters, cartoons, photo-realistic, and post-modern graffiti. There were also various activities for (young) children.

Today and tomorrow, the 220-meter-long pink wall on PSV-laan will be enriched with art by 35 artists from 11 different countries. Pim Bens have already applied the basic design with the help of assistants. The wall should form a beautiful connection between the PSV wall from Studio Giftig and the Steenstraattunnel from Vesod and Corn.
