Three ambulances were rushed to Eindhoven Airport in a short time on Tuesday morning after the landing of various airplanes because three people had become unwell.

A flight from Edinburgh to Malta, operated by Ryanair, had to make a stopover in Eindhoven because a man had become unwell due to heart problems. He was taken by an ambulance.

Also in a TUI aircraft, which came from Nador in Morocco, a woman had become unwell who needed to be checked after the landing.

A third ambulance was needed for a woman who had arrived from Milan on a Ryanair flight. “She is a few weeks pregnant. The ambulance has just arrived at the aircraft,” said the spokesperson.

A spokesperson for the airport informed NU.nl that it was a coincidence and that the three cases had nothing to do with each other.
