The Eindhoven-based Bottle Distillery has been voted Distillery of the year 2019 during the Berlin International Spirit Competition.
From all over the world, there were more than 300 entries, but the Eindhoven distillery took the gold. For their Lucky Bastard Rum, Bottle Distillery got a score of 94 points by the professional jury.
Lucky Bastard Rum
Lucky Bastard Rum is traditionally distilled from organic molasses. The rum is aged in specially selected American oak barrels. According to the jury report, the rum is full of aromas with the recognition of the molasses.
Bottle Distillery
Bottle Distillery on Bleekweg in the centre of Eindhoven was founded in 2016 by Mark and Dianne Migchels. They make spirits using traditional methods. The distillery uses natural ingredients, and no flavours, aromas, or colourants are added.
