The local political party, GroenLinks, is concerned about discrimination against expats in Eindhoven.

The party questioned the Council about this. This comes after an article in the local newspaper, the Eindhovens Dagblad. In it, foreign employees and students report that they are regularly subjected to discrimination when going out on the town for an evening.

In GroenLinks’ opinion, discrimination should be a thing of the past. It is an issue that should always be addressed. The party also wonders whether more people are being discriminated against for, for example, their religious beliefs or country of origin.
