The annual Eindhoven Maker Faire is still six months away. However, ‘makers’ can start registering for this event now already.
From the beginning of the month, so-called ‘makers’ from the Netherlands and beyond have been able to register for this, the largest maker festival of the Netherlands. Last year, it drew 15,000 visitors. This year, on 28 and 29 September, more than 250 makers will present their projects in the Klokgebouw and Ketelhuisplein at Strijp-S.
Call for Makers
The organisers of the event are inviting all enthusiastic makers who would like to showcase their projects on an international platform to apply. Eindhoven Maker Faire is looking for creative people – inventors, artists, software developers, fashion designers, hobbyists and everyone in between.
Registration is free. Everyone who is involved in creative or technological innovation is welcome. Click here for more information about registration and to find the application form.
Then, there is also the Eindhoven Crazy Parade. This event will be held on the same days at the Faire. The Eindhoven Crazy Parade is a parade of crazy vehicles that will wind their way through Strijp-S. Vehicles of all shapes and sizes will be presented by their builders. Visitors can view this parade for free and without a festival ticket. Would you like to participate in this peculiar parade? Then, send an e-mail to parade@eindhovenmakerfaire.
