Additional security measures are to be added for the district of Wilhelminadorp and the business parks in Best.
The Municipality is too often discredited because of serious crime. At the Council meeting on Monday evening, all political parties agreed unanimously to the introduction of an integral security plan. But what that plan will be exactly, is yet to be decided. The safety in the neighbourhood must, at the least, receive more attention. Crime, incidents, and disruptions of public order must decrease.
Patrol
The Council members who were approached, do not want to respond on camera. The plan is not yet concrete enough, they say. In addition, they are also worried that Wilhelminadorp will be put in a bad light. The police have said they do patrol the area, as they do in several places in the region.
