A 33-year-old woman from Eindhoven has received 20 hours of community service and a fine for abusing her dog. She also can not keep animals for three years. That has been determined by the judge.
In March this year, the woman put her dog in a garbage container. The dog was accidentally discovered by the driver of a garbage truck and was brought to the animal protection with minor injuries. The woman confessed that she had put her dog in the container because she was afraid that if she had to move, she could not take her dog along.
The judge has taken into account that the suspect has limited intellectual understanding and functions at a low level.
