The theme of this year’s light event GLOW is Shadow & Light.
According to the organisers, many projects are ‘A game between light and dark’. Thirty-two light art objects are to be placed along a 5km walking route. It will be divided into four categories: Large Light, Art Light, New Light, and Green Light.
Photo competition on Instagram
For the first time, visitors can enter a photo competition via Instagram. The Pullman Hotel will have a light project which can be seen from two kilometres high and from as far away as 20km. The person with the most creative photo of this will win an all-inclusive stay at the hotel and a place of pride on all of GLOW’s channels.
PSV stadium
On Saturday, 10 November, the Mayor Jorritsma will open the event at 18:30 at the Philips Stadium. This year too, there will be a light show at the stadium. It is, however, not free. GLOW will run until Saturday, 17 November.
