The Eindhoven DJ Lady Aïda (Aïda Spaninks) organizes again this year “The World’s Biggest Eye Contact Experiment” on the 18 Septemberplein with her Pop Up Yoga. Hundreds of people are expected to look deeply into each other’s eyes on Saturday 22 September.
Eindhoven is participating again in this third edition of the international ‘World’s Biggest Eye Contact Experiment’. Last year 183 cities in 113 countries participated, with more than 200,000 participants.
The number is expected to exceed 200,000 worldwide this year. Also because the Eye Contact Experiment takes place this year during the International Peace Week. The idea of the global project is that people look at each other uninterrupted for a minute.
The Eye Contact Experiment will be held on Saturday 22 September 2018, between 13:00 and 17:00h, on 18 Septemberplein in the city centre of Eindhoven. Here you can find more info.
In daily life, Aïda Spaninks is known as a DJ (also teaching), and as a pop up yoga teacher. Her mission is to explore the boundaries between art, design, technology and science with yoga and meditation. She gives weekly lessons in various public places in the city.
