First career day at De Taalbrug

Today (Wednesday), the pupils of De Taalbrug in Eindhoven can become inspired at the first career day being held at the school.

It was organised in cooperation with MKB (the organisation for small and medium businesses) Eindhoven. They want children to come into contact with different occupations as early as possible. Thirty-five companies are taking part. If students make the right choice in time, dropping out of school and unemployment can be avoided.

De Taalbrug is a school that offers education to children with special needs, these range from children with language development disorders to children with an autism spectrum disorder.

The career day is a trial run; the intention is that they will be rolled out later in special-needs education.
