Major police operation against drugs criminals

Early Monday morning, police started a major operation against drugs criminals in the region.

Police were busy in Helmond, Deurne, Liessel and Geldrop. They raided a house along the Flekensstraat in Geldrop.

The same happened at the Baroness van Voorst tot Voorsthof street in Geldrop. Here police discovered items necessary to set up cannabis farms. Raids also took place at other properties and houses.

By now, six suspects aged between 26 to 51 have been arrested. They are suspected of cannabis farming, drug trafficking and money laundering.

About two weeks ago, a major police raid took place in Geldrop as well.
