Three Eindhoven street art artists, and projects have been nominated for Dutch Street Art Awards.
They are the international graffiti festival Step in the Arena, The Sound of Strijp-S mural and street art photographer Luke da Duke.
They have been nominated in the categories: Epic Event, Dutch Mural and Street Photographer.
The international graffiti festival Step in the Arena is organized for the eighth time by Dynamo. ‘The unique location, the support of Eindhoven municipality and the fantastic volunteers are the success factors of the festival,’ says Dave van den Berg of Dynamo.
Dynamo also aims to make the city more beautiful with murals, large wall paintings made of paint and spray paint. The Sound of Strijp-S is behind the Klokgebouw and is the largest mural of the Netherlands with one theme.
The nominee Luke da Duke is a photographer and street performer. He creates street art pictures and contributes to the street art scene with his pop up concept ‘Vandal Art’.
The prize ceremony is held in Amsterdam on Friday.
