First residents take occupancy of residential buildings in Gestel

The first occupants have moved into the residential buildings in the Eindhoven suburb of Gestel.

The received their keys from the Woonbedrijf corporation. The company is renting out a total of 150 apartments in the buildings. There was a lot of demand for the homes.

The Archipel care organisaton gave instruction for the construction. There are also district facilities such as a health centre with a GP, pharmacy, physiotherapist and a GGZ facility.

Clergy from the Order of the Augustines in Eindhoven are also being housed in the buildings. They have 20 apartments, a chapel and a communal dining area. The 17 priests and two nuns are moving out of the historic Marienhage complex in Kerkstraat where the clergy have lived for 125 years.

The residential buildings are 17 stories high.
