Students of primary school De Bijenkorf have been busy this week with everything digital. There has been a program to learn, but also lessons have been given, for example about social media and homemade puzzles. And for the upper levels, there was a visit by the Makers Buzz on Thursday with, amongst other things, a 3D printer. The students themselves could print animals or dolls.
The Makers Buzz is the initiative of the Eindhoven Library, which is regularly working with schools. Not because all children need to learn how to use a 3D printer, but because students also learn to work on a range of other skills. For example, creative and logical thinking, working together, and spatial awareness.
It was, in any case, a party for the students of De Bijenkorf. And they could of course take their self printed critters home.
