TU students and Eneco to collaborate on solar cars

Driving on solar energy, accessible to consumers: that is the goal of the Eindhoven solar-student team and Eneco.

The team of students from the Technical University of Eindhoven is known for the solar cars Stella and Stella Lux. Every year they participate in the World Solar Challenge, a competition for cars powered through solar energy.

The TU/e students and Eneco will collaborate and share knowledge on sustainability, mobility, and innovation. Driving cars with renewable energy should eventually be possible and affordable for everyone.

Ultimately, the students would like to sell their knowledge to different companies so that they will make user-friendly cars that run on solar energy.
