As part of The World’s Biggest Eye Contact Experiment coordinated by The Liberators International, coming Saturday 29 October this happening will take place from 17:00 to 20:00 at Piazza square (18 Septemberplein) in Eindhoven.
In more than 160 cities all over the world on Saturday 29 October 2016 many people will be in eye contact to allow you to be the change you wish to see in the world by creating an authentic, loving and respectful platform for human connection to flourish in public. Last year there were over 100,000 people involved.
You can share a minute of eye contact with strangers in public to rebuild our sense of shared civilization. Your participation will help create a global video message for peace and human connection for years to come.
The Eindhoven participation is initiated by Aïda Spaninks from Pop Up Yoga. She says “The only intention of this global experiment is to have eye contact. Because we all want to be seen for who we truly are. Drop your guards, your expectations about who you are, who you want to be and how others perceive you. What we want to ask you is to come only in the name of your pure self. Leave your ego as well as other (commercial) expressions at home.”
In front of Bijenkorf all will gather, here some tips of what you can bring:
cushion (maybe two?)
yogamat or picknick rug
small folded chair
just yourself and nothing else (there are some marked places to stand)
Be on time. Our Eye Contact Crew volunteers (you recognize them wearing safety vests and ECE badges) can help you to get started.
