Marathon is heading towards record number of participants

Eindhoven Marathon

“More than 25,000 people will participate in this year’s Eindhoven Marathon”. These are the words of race director, Edgar de Veer. Once again, it is a record number for the marathon. Last year, more than 24,000 participated.

The half marathon has the largest number of runners. “There are between 9000 and 10,000 this year”.

The estimated figures:

Half marathon: 9500 runners
Marathon: 2700 runners
City Run: 6000 runners
Mini-Marathon: 3000 runners
10km: 3250 runners
Relay: 345 teams of four, around 1400 runners
Total participants: 25,850

The marathon takes place on 9th October. The runners in the full marathon will set off at 10.00, and the half starts at 13.15.
