A shoplifter was caught red handed in Geldrop, yesterday evening. The woman was caught while loading her handbag with stolen goods at the Kruidvat store on Langstraat. The police, however, prevented her from leaving the store with the loot.
Since the police officers were alerted while the woman was still busy with looting, they were able to block all possible escape routes from the shop. Immediately thereafter, they succeeded in arresting the shoplifter without any problems.
Apparently, her handbag was full with stolen goods. The police is further investigating the woman.
