Glow FM presenter Rob Janssen has been nominated for Presentation Talent of the year at the Local Broadcasting Awards. This has just been announced by the National Organization for Local Broadcasters.
His program "Rob’s Big Sunday Radio Spectacle Show" can be heard every Sunday from 16:00 to 18:00 and is full of jokes that you do not often hear on other radio programs. It is a unique program in the Eindhoven region.
"I am extremely pleased with the nomination" said Janssen. "It shows that there is room for silliness on the radio. I am also pleased that Glow FM has never imposed restrictions on what can and can’t be done. Anything is possible, and that seems to count now.
Previously, Luuk and Rein from Glow FM won the award for Presentation Talent. That year, Studio040, which Glow FM is part of, was local broadcaster of the year.
The baton will be handed over to another broadcaster at the awards ceremony which takes place on June 10 at Sound and Vision (Beeld en Geluid).Rob Janssen will also find out then if he is the winner of Presentation Talent of the year.
