Holidaymakers flying out of Eindhoven Airport can park their vehicles in Meerhoven driveways as part of a new solution proposed by parking marketplace Parkyourcar.
Currently, travellers park in the Meerhoven area before taking the bus to the airport, a situation that is becoming problematic for locals.
With Parkyourcar’s plan, residents can rent their driveways to holidaymakers through the company’s website, at much lower prices than airport parking fees.
The company already sells parking spaces in Utrecht, The Hague, and Amsterdam parking lots. The new concept is a pilot being rolled out for the first time in the Netherlands.
