Eindhoven team wins 9,000 Euros in prize money in a week

The Eindhoven student team T.E.S.T. has won 9,000 Euros in prize money, in just one week, for its idea for a monitor app for kidney patients.

The team won last Thursday at the Brains Awards and again at the TU/e Contest, together a sum of 9,000 Euros. They won with their handy test with which you can trace kidney damage promptly.

They intend to use the prize money to develop a working prototype of a biosensor. With such a device, kidney patients can monitor their kidney function at home using a smartphone and a single drop of blood.

In addition to the prize money, the students can also count on the support of the TU/e Innovation Lab and a work station at the High Tech Campus where they can continue the development of their innovations.
