Last night there was a little havoc on the Ds. Fliednerstraat. A car rammed the back of a bus and a truck that tried to avoid the accident got stuck in the roadside.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Fliednerstraat with Onze Lieve Vrouwestraat. A bus drove through a green traffic light towards the Maxima Medical Centre when a car, by unknown reason, hit the bus at the back.
A truck could just avoid a more serious accident, by steering its combination in the roadside. That’s where it got stuck.
The car driver was injured in the accident. A medical student, who was in the bus, administered first aid. The other occupants of the bus were unharmed.
