ASML opened their enormous company restaurant this week (March 7, 2016). The restaurant has a surface of 4000 square meters, and boasts 6 different food stations with corresponding different areas to lounge and have a meeting.
The new restaurant is a result of a rather large renovation project that took place at the Veldhoven chip manufacturer ASML Plaza
The restaurant has to match the current way of working, with a lot of flex spots. But more importantly each station has to cater their cuisine to the many different cultures of their staff. Hence there are stations that cater to persons with, amongst others, Italian, Dutch and Asian taste buds.
ASML in Veldhoven has a staff of about 8000 persons of almost 90 different nationalities.
