It is CrazyTuesday, the last day of Carnival in Lampegat (village of lights). But before the light goes out, there is still plenty to do.
In the tent on the Markt for example, at 11.00 this morning, the first beer was served. But is should be mentioned that it is only for guests.
In the afternoon, all the festivities are for general public. D’n Beste Mensch is elected and the Golden Drum Potter is awarded. This is an award for the Lampegatter who has worked for the musical support of Carnival. And then of course there is the wedding for the farmers.
Around midnight the last lamp is switched off by City Prince Gilbert du Verre.
