Focus on fire Safety in Eindhoven’s hospitality sector

Hospitality sector entrepreneurs in Eindhoven are expected to present fire safety measures in their respective businesses by the end of the month.

The initiative for this action comes from the Koninklijke Horeca Nederland (Royal Dutch Hospitality Sector), the Stichting Horecaplatform Eindhoven (Hospitality Platform Foundation), and the municipality.

Volunteers will visit various hospitality businesses to advise their staff regarding the location of emergency exits, emergency lighting, and fire extinguishers.

These biannual visits aim to raise fire safety awareness among entrepreneurs. The volunteers will note any flaws and the safety risks they discover.

The initiative will take place from October 29th until November 7th, 2015.
