The first “Day of Innovation” commences today. The event is being held at five different locations in the Netherlands, including the Klokgebouw in Eindhoven. The Kamer van Koophandel (the Chamber of Commerce) is organizing the day.
Innovation and its various aspects will be discussed. It will feature the use of technology and data, but also focuses on sustainability. A winner will be announced from the Innovation Top 100.
For the past few days students in Eindhoven have prepared for the day. Innovation is important for companies, and the input of schools and young talent is of great importance.
Various companies come to take a look at the graduate student projects.
A student challenge was also organized to generate ideas. Different groups were allowed to pitch their idea to a panel.
