Open day at Differ energy institute

Energy research institute Differ (Dutch Institute for Fundamental Energy Research) will hold an open day during the science weekend.

Everyone is welcome in the laboratory building on the grounds of Eindhoven’s Technical University on Sunday, October 4th. Activities for young and old will take place throughout the afternoon.

Visitors can participate in mini-masterclasses on Differ research, a children’s treasure hunt, and a guided tour of the building surrounded by triple-glazing and climate ceilings. Differ employees will give short talks about their research, while Diederik Jekel, a regular on popular Dutch TV show De Wereld Draait Door (The World Keeps Turning), will lead a question and answer session where visitors are invited to ask the researchers questions.

The open day will run from 13:00 until 17:00, with free admission and parking.

Differ’s new building is located on the TU/e campus as of May this year.
