Romanian arrested for maltreatment conductress at Eindhoven CS

Tuesday morning, a 37-year-old Romanian fare dodger was arrested at Eindhoven station for assaulting a 58-year-old German conductress.

Because of this incident, the train, en route from Munich to Amsterdam, stopped at Eindhoven station for a long time. The Romanian was hiding in a wagon for bikes, a spokesman for the police told Eindhoven Dichtbij.

When the conductress found him and asked for his train ticket, the man pushed her harshly in a corner of the wagon. She was hurt on an arm and leg.

The train therefore stopped in Eindhoven, so that the Romanian could be arrested by police. The man has no fixed residence or domicile.
