The Akert residential care centre in Geldrop, is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary. Celebrations will take place in the form of various festive activities, starting today and continuing through Friday.
Throughout the years, the residential centre has undergone quite a number of changes. The changes will be visible during a photo exhibition.
Other festivities will take place in the recreation halls and in a tent just before the entrance to the residential care centre.
The nursing home contains 36 residents suffering from dementia and the old people home contains 44 residents. Furthermore, 32 people use the daytime activity facilities.
