A 24-hour industrial campaign of employees of DAF in Eindhoven will be held coming Friday. Negotiations for a new collective agreement have come to naught.
Besides no work, a protest march will be held. From community center De Ronde, Tongelresestraat, to the DAF factory. That march begins at 12:00.
Today, leading up to the strike, fixed actions at the DAF gate are held. Between 06:00 and 09:00 flyers will be handed out, both at the main gate and at the east gate. Flyer actions are also planned on Friday.
The unions and employers in the metal sector do not agree on a new collective agreement. That is why the whole sector is protesting. In the Maas Building in Rotterdam a meeting for all employees in the large and small metal in the region is held.
