Vigil for boat people on the Markt coming Saturday

At the market square in the centre of Eindhoven, a wake will be held for the boat people who lost their lives on the Mediterranean when they tried to sail to Europe on 14th of April.

The network ‘Humaan Omgaan met Vluchtelingen’ (human treatment of refugees) organized the event. Between 14:00 and 15:00 hrs there will be a ‘quiet and wordless’ vigil. Anyone is welcome to join.

The organization wants to draw attention to the victims and create the possibility to mourn them.
