Students to present DIY car in RAI next week

A car you can transform yourself to any situation? That’s Nova, a new electric car, designed by the students of the Technical University of Eindhoven.

Next Thursday they will present the car to the public during the Motor Show ‘AutoRAI’, (RAI is an exhibition centre), in Amsterdam on April 16.

It is the world’s first modular car. The students have built Nova with the goal of designing a comfortable car for every desired situation. This allows you to take a ride into town using an appropriate battery. You can also adjust the car to your liking by changing the outside panels.

Also a notable feature of the car is that it is a three-seater. Only the driver sits in the front. ‘The driver is literally the centre point’ said Steven Nelemans, team manager TU-Ecomotive.

During AutoRAI on April 16 Nova will on display for the first time. The students will present the car in the Innovation Lab.
