Research into burn-out treatment in Eindhoven

At Strijp-S, scientific research is being conducted into the treatment of burn-out by the Eindhoven companybedrijf Letec.

Letec has developed the so-called Xentix, a special treatment couch. Patients are treated on it with light therapy and magnetic field therapy. They have to lie on the couch for 40 minutes, twice a week, for a period of twelve weeks.

Research has been performed for three months now and half of the required number of participants has already taken part. The company first wants to test the couch extensively, before actually introducing it to healthcare.
