During a broad surveillance operation in Eindhoven, conducted by the Prostitution Control Team (PCT), several illegal prostitutes were detained. The surveillance conducted yesterday was aimed at finding illegal prostitution practices, such as underage prostitution and forced prostitution in Eastern Brabant.
In one house in Eindhoven, prostitutes working illegally were discovered. Furthermore, two women that offered their services via internet were found and checked in a hotel that both parties had agreed upon. It seemed they were lacking the appropriate documents.
One of the women, a 19-year-old girl from Romania, the police suspect is not engaged in legal practices. The 26-year-old man that was with her was arrested on suspicion of trafficking in human beings.
