Last weekend 8 cars were maliciously scratched in the Achtste Barrier neighbourhood.
Most damage was done in the vicinity of the Compiegnehof but cars were also scratched on the Grenoblelaan, according to a tweet by the area constable, Erik van Pareren.
Three car owners have already submitted a complaint. According to a police spokesperson, there is a big chance that many more cars were damaged. An eye witness stated that this act of vandalism was done by two young boys, one with blond hair and the other with reddish hair.
The police requests residents of Achtste Barrier to stay alert and as soon as they see something suspicious, to go ahead and call the police immediately. Meanwhile, investigation as to the identity of the perpetrators is continuing.
