VVD: Eindhoven emergency fund for crime victims

According to the VVD parliamentary party in Eindhoven, an emergency fund for crime victims, of an armed robbery or a home burglary for instance, should be made available. The group will propose a motion during the council meeting this evening.

According to the VVD, the victims’ follow-up care should be part of crime prevention. The fund should consist of money recovered from the criminals.

The motion calls for the mayor and aldermen to examine how such an emergency fund can be implemented.

This evening, the city council will discuss the framework documents containing the most important policy framework and decisions for the following three years.
