During the first semester of this year, 1.82 million passengers passed through Eindhoven Airport, an 18 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
The increase is mainly due to the growth in the number of destinations. There is a total of 67 destinations at this point, four more than last year.
The regional airport expects a total of more than 3.8 million passengers by the end of the year, representing a 13% increase compared to 2013, when 3.4 million passengers travelled through the airport. This number is higher than the expected 3.7 million.
