Eindhoven and Amsterdam in Europe’s top ICT hubs

The Brainport area is listed number 9 in the new EU atlas of ICT hotspots. This atlas shows where digital technologies thrive. The Amsterdam area is listed number 10.

The European Commission’s report analysed three elements (business activity, R&D and Innovation in the ICT sector) on the basis of their intensity, internationalisation and networking. München, London and Paris rank on the top of the list.

Dutch areas are scoring well in the Category Rankings: Eindhoven has the highest number of ICT patents, Delft is number one in Computer Science and Amsterdam is ranking top of the list when the investment climate for ICT companies is concerned.
