Early on Wednesday morning police detained three men for illegal gun ownership. They were a 22-year-old man from Eindhoven and two men from Rotterdam aged 34 and 27-years-old.
Whilst patrolling on Hoogstraat, the passenger car attracted the attention of the police. Police pulled the car over and while speaking with the driver, officers smelled a strong aroma of hemp and searched the vehicle.No drugs were found, but they did find a stun gun in the car. The passengers of the vehicle also possessed a few thousand euros in cash, packed in individual packets, and a few new cell phones.The Eindhoven resident did not have a valid driver’s license and also had an outstanding fine of 200 euros.The three men are taken to the station for questioning. The car and the evidence found within have been confiscated.
