Strijp S in Eindhoven has been nominated for the ‘Gulden Feniks’ 2013. The national prize is awarded annually for places or areas that have been renovated in a remarkable way.
The National Renovation Platform (NRP) has three categories of phoenix: Renovation, Transformation and Area Transformation. Strijp S is competing with the Blaauwlakenblok in Amsterdam and the Nieuwe Binnenweg in Rotterdam for the Area Tranformation category. The ‘Gulden Feniks’ 2013 will be awarded on Tuesday 4th of June in the RAI Amsterdam.
