TU/e develops economical car system

The TU has developed a hybrid engine system, so that the fuel consumption of cars can go down by 30 percent.

Also the model is much cheaper than old engine systems that run on batteries. Through a special technique the car saves energy when accelerating and braking.The Belgian company Punch Powertrain wants to produce the new system. The intention is that within a few years hundreds of thousands appear in the Chinese market.
