Sales TMC higher, profit lower

Monday, August 6, 2012

EINDHOVEN – TMC (seconding of personnel), has booked in the first six months of this year nearly 28 million euros of revenue. The first six months of last year it ended at 26.3 million.

TMC currently has seconded 503 so-called ‘entrepreneurial workers’. Earlier this year, there were still 478. The profit fell back from nearly 3 million to 2.6 million. That has to do with higher costs, partly because of a higher proportion of employers contribution to social security. TMC notes firstly that employers have more need for ‘contract staff’, but on the other side that need is “erratic” and projects are on average of shorter duration, according to TMC in the half year report.
