Christmas Break at the Library

Kids will be out for Christmas break soon and that means two full weeks for parents to keep them entertained. Luckily the Eindhoven library is helping out with two fun days of events.

On Friday, December 28th the library is hosting the Tech & Play Kids Festival at the Beursgebouw Eindhoven. The event is targeted for children aged four through twelve and aims to create a fun atmosphere where kids can explore and interact with technology. There will be activities for children of all ages including making a light robot, building a bamboo hut, playing with slime and even leaning some computer programing.

The library does ask that everyone reserves tickets ahead of time to avoid long lines at the door. Tickets are 2 Euros per person and you can purchase either a morning ticket or an afternoon ticket and come anytime during that time. You can purchase your tickets here: Tech & Play

The next day on Saturday, December 29 the Library has another event for children in the library. Kids can help decorate a “wishing tree”. They can write a wish for the new year and hang it on the tree with the hopes that their wish comes true. After that children can help make little birds wishes come true by making a bird feeder.
The library is also equipped with a fun little play area for little kids and a nice cafe so there will be no problem keeping the kids busy while parents or grandparents enjoy a cup of coffee.
