Drinks, Pitches and Demos event from High Tech campus Eindhoven

“Do you have a brilliant idea you want to share, a problem you can’t solve or just want to meet some cool people?” is the slogan of the Drink, Pitches and Demos event from High Tech Campus Eindhoven.

“It just takes 5 mins to present your innovative idea to an enthusiastic audience”

Held on every first Wednesday of the month, this event is a classic opportunity for startups to present their pitches in an informal way and discuss the challenges. Other than students and professionals this meeting is also attended by entrepreneurs. This platform is open to everyone and registration can be done via sending email to info@hightechxl-plaza.com.

I (-Ed: Yawar-) had a chance to attend one of such event organized at the XL plaza at the high tech campus. The talks were from broad technological backgrounds; from life sciences, environmental sciences, to management and engineering. I like the fact that the idea should be presented in a concise and conceivable way without diving into the technical details. It (should) just takes 5 mins to present any innovative idea to a layman. After that, there is drink sessions for interaction between innovators and audience. The interactive presentation and dynamic social interaction were the distinct facets of this event.

This presentation is not confined to just presenting ideas but also to discuss different challenges faced by startups and enterprises. This is also a nice opportunity for startups to attract their future employees. For the audience it’s a nice way to enhance their professional and social circle, moreover, to get motivated by the ideas of startups.

If you have a good idea or interest in innovations this event is a nice opportunity. You can participate just by send email to info@hightecxl-plaza.com. The next event will be on June 4 in Microlab at Kastanjelaan 400, 5616LZ Eindhoven from 17:00 to 19:00.
