During the annual initiative Earth Hour, WWF (World Wildlife Fund) raises attention for energy consumption by turning of the lights for one hour. Hopefully, this creates awareness regarding people’s energy consumption. In this context,  regional WWF team Brabant South East organizes an atmospheric energy-free (music) night at POPEI.

Together with millions of people from over 152 countries and 7000 cities worldwide, we will show how much we care for the future of our planet: together we will turn of the lights for one hour. Of course, everybody at home can participate in Earth Hour by turning of the lights between 20.30h and 21.30h. However, it’s a lot of fun to commemorate this special moment during an extraordinary event. ‘Eventjes Uit’ at POPEI starts at 17.00h. You can enjoy an organic and fair trade meal at POPEI or a special Earth Hour Smoothie. At 20.00h, singer-songwriters will perform and there will be acoustic music and lots of additional entertainment. The regional WWF team Brabant South East will also be there to underline the importance of Earth Hour.
