Circular Economics Meetup Meet & Greet

November 27, 2016 @ 13:00 - 17:00

The Cooperative community is growing in Eindhoven. They focus on Resource Based and Circular Economics.

Take, make and dump is the linear life cycle of resources today, which is depleting our natural resources and creates “waste” after the intended product life cycle. A Circular model not only seeks to prevent waste by design, but re-uses any “waste” resources to make new things.

This Meeting called ‘Plan B 1.61 and 1.62’ is to talk further.

Mathew: “I want to share what I have been working on, what inspired this and how this might go forward.

We can then talk informally with each other, have some food, drinks, music and collaborate. We can talk about possibilities with membership via Time Banking and Payoneer..

We can talk about using Blockchain based voting systems to reach consensus and the idea of monetizing recyclable materials with cryptocurrency as an incentive

We can also talk about Mondragon in Spain, learning from their successes, and how they may be duplicated.

We can talk about decentralized production, how to market products, what could be made, product design, materials, shifting from consumption to production, decentralized informational storage, p2p/f2f decentralized communication (Retroshare), decentralized web hosting, a zero-waste policy, competing with China, finding space for operations and more…
