During Carnival Eindhoven transforms into ‘Lampegat’. The whole city wears the colours orange-blue. ‘Lampegat’ is known for its hospitality: everybody is welcome to join this enormous feast.

The Stratumseind, Pullman Cocagne at the Vestdijk, the carnival tent at the Markt and the pubs at the Wilhelminaplein are the paces where all carnival activities happen. Every day a different program: wind bands, artists, the ‘Malle Maandag Middag’, the so-called farmer’s wedding and of course lots of activities for young people. All festivities at the carnival tent at the Markt are accessible free of charge.
