CEO VION from Eindhoven quits

EINDHOVEN – Uwe Tillmann, CEO of the VION Food Group, has resigned. The supervisory board of the Eindhoven meat giant said that on Tuesday. The reason for the departure is still unknown.

Tillmann was the executive director and chairman of the board of directors. Vice-chairman Dirk Kloosterboer takes over the responsibilities and tasks of the German Tillmann with immediate effect.VION Food Group has met fierce competition in recent years and therefore has had to implement several reorganizations. The headquarters of the meat processing company are in Eindhoven.Furthermore, there are Brabant branches in among others Boxtel and Schijndel. The company has an annual turnover of 9.5 billion euros and has a total of 26.500 employees.Source: Omroep Brabant
