Eindhoven may call itself Pink City of the Netherlands next year. Every year, a different city gets the title; in 2014, it will be Eindhoven. Yesterday, the certificate was officially handed over at the city council.
The city that receives the Pink City title organizes the gay event "Pink Saturday". This annual event attracts about fifty thousand people.
But that is not all. Many other activities with a pink touch are organized. That can be lectures and debates, but also sports activities.
"Pink Saturday" will be organized in Eindhoven on 5 July 2014.
